{Behind the Scene}

While this wasn't a full detail photoshoot, it was still a shoot nonetheless. Here are a few behind the scenes pics.

Thanks for the fun, Meg!

Meg and I met up at the park the other night to play with her new lens. Needless to say, we had fun. As always.

{Fall Photo Shoot}

Here is the rest of our fall diy wedding inspiration photo shoot. Done with the help of amazing photographer Megan of Easy Dreamer Photography and sweet Dana from Spokane Bride Blog. We wanted to create something inspirational and attainable on any budget. I did the floral arrangements using things found in my mom's garden. I used basil and mountain ash berry. I wove together baby orange petunias for my headpiece. I embellished Megan's dress (bridesmaid) with handmade fabric flowers and ribbon. This is a customizable service I will soon be offering on my etsy shop. Dana made the delicious pumpkin cake that I adorned with the berries. Megan and I baked the cookies using an amazing cookie cutter from Williams Sonoma. The rest of our props we things we used that we already had, or borrowed from friends. Plus we had the most amazing time doing this! There may be something similar coming this winter, too. :) Stay tuned.

You can contact me here about any personal requests regarding a customized dress, outfit, or about the floral designs for your special day!

{Photoshoot}

Good morning everyone! It's been forever, I know! I'm still getting all settled into my new apartment... which doesn't have internet... YET. Hence the lack of blogging. I will be back in the full swing on things soon, though, I promise. In the meantime I've been making new friends and we've been working on a little project. Like a wedding inspiration photoshoot! And lucky me they asked me to be the bride!

For your viewing pleasure...

We had so much fun! I can't wait to post more pictures and tell you all about it. But for now I will just say our inspiration is so affordable and DYI friendly. I upcycled Megan's dress, the cake was baked by Dana, I did all the floral with things from the garden. More soon, I promise!

XOXO

P.S. These photos are by Easy Dreamer Photography (Megan)... isn't she amazing?! All in collaboration with Dana from Spokane Bride Blog.

{Destined for Greater Things}

I went to visit my sister this weekend. It was so nice to see her- we had so much fun. You may remember that my sister and I like to do photo shoots for her oh-so-stylish blog. (To see our last photo shoot click here.)
Unfortunately we don't have such a stylish budget. And what we do have- goes to the clothes. After all, it is about the fashion. So we do everything ourselves. But I think I like it that way.

This time our theme was winter fashion accessories.

Yes- that one's of me. My sister got me that adorable headband for Christmas and I had to show it off. Vintage lace dress and pearls courtesy of another sweet package from my Aunt Catherine to my sister.
